Pounding the pavement again!
OK so… after making good headway last year , things started to feel wrong. Not running wise, just my health in general.
So with blood pressure through the roof, a goiter and my gall bladder all going haywire at the same time… been a bit ill you could say , for a huge hunk of time. All now fixed… ish, and recovery is well on the way.
I started C25K from week 2 again at the end of July after re-finding my Forerunner, and today managed to finish Week 4 Run 1!
This is a major step forward for me as I have never achieved this point before – it’s where the running starts to become more continuous, with the periods of running longer than walking. It’s harder, but the distance covered is increasing and my pace/km decreasing.
Parkrun is getting closer.
