C25K Week Two run 1
Well that was an eye opener – the usual 5 minute warm up walk followed by 90 seconds of running and two minutes walking for 20 minutes… even with Jules as my pacemaker I struggled on this one. But nearly made my target, the sign post after Fullens Lock, so close but yet so far.
This might be the last run this week as well as my knee-brace slipped and was in the wrong place and I now have a new pain on the inside of my knee that made itself noticeable with seconds to go. Shoe felt loose so have also got ankle pain now as well… Looks like I may have to take a trip to Derby Runner and get assessed and some proper shoes before continuing , or invest in more ice-packs!
