A life on the ocean wave
Wednesday, and after the late start on Saturday down to Devon we are now getting close to finally reaching Spain.
The rain on Saturday ruined a great ride down the Fosse Way , hit us hard just after Moreton in the Marsh so we headed to the M5 to speed up the inevitable. It was “Belgian” until around Taunton Services.Quick stop for “comfort” and a chance for Jules to attach a loose tank pannier then the last dash to her Parents house and sleep.
Up before sun up to get Jules over to Totnes to register for the Dart 10k and wait for the start at 8:45. She emerged cold but victorious three hours later beating last year’s time by thirty minutes.
Everyone tired so back to their for a curry and a couple of beers for the swimmer, supporters and family.
Monday started with another swim.
This time Jules went in from Budleigh beach with her Dad. By this time humidity was getting really high and even an ice cream couldn’t fix it.
